A man, in his 40s, was run over by a bus on the afternoon of this Friday, July 1st, in the Zé Pereira neighborhood. Victim has not yet been identified.

He was hit by the 406 bus at the intersection of Elenir Amaral and Edmundo de Almeida streets and police officers from the 7th Police Station.

The victim was not disabled, he just used a wheelchair because his leg was broken. A man was rescued by two ambulances, which were heading to the Vila Almeida Emergency Care Unit (UPA), but he could not resist and died after 40 minutes of resuscitation inside the SAMU vehicle.
