In a shocking incident reported in the Pimple Gurav area of Pimpri Chinchwad, a six-year-old child died after a grinder fell on his head. The incident took place on Tuesday when the child had gone with his mother to a washing centre to wash their vehicle. After they dropped their vehicle at the washing centre, they were waiting at the workshop. The child was playing at the workshop and suddenly when he tried to pull the grinder kept at a stand it fell on his head accidentally.

The boy suffered serious injuries to the head and he was rushed to the hospital. The doctors declared him brought dead on arrival. "The incident took place in a fraction of seconds. We will be registering an FIR after we receive the complaint from the deceased's family. The washing centre and workshop are owned by the same person." Sunil Tonape, senior police inspector of Sanghavi police station told Pune Mirror.

The grinder should have been kept in a way that it doesn't fall but it was not locked and hence it fell on the child. The family didn't come out yet to register an FIR as they are busy with last rites but once they register an FIR, a case will be registered at Sanghavi police station in the matter, said police.
