A person has died in a shooting that took place on Vivekananda
Kanda Road in the Coastal Police area.
The police say that two unknown people who came on a motorcycle fired and ran away.
The person injured in the shooting died after being admitted to the Colombo National Hospital.
A 51-year-old resident of Vivekananda Kanda Road, Kotahena, has died.
The reason for the shooting has not yet been revealed and the
Coastal Police is investigating to arrest the suspects.
