Incident happend at Colombia

A new murder was recorded around 3:00 in the afternoon this Sunday 

in the Manuela Beltrán neighborhood, in Soledad (Atlántico), when Jhon Pardo, 

a 43-year-old driver for the Transmecar company, was murdered while covering 

the Barranquilla route - Soledad, via the Ernesto Cortissoz airport.



While he was driving, Pardo was intercepted by two people on a motorcycle who, 

without saying a word, shot him twice. According to information provided by the Police, 

one of the bullets hit him in the neck, while the other 

projectile seriously injured one of his legs.



General Luis Carlos Hernández, commander of the Barranquilla Police, 

confirmed that there is already evidence that could incriminate alias '21', 

a member of Los Rastrojos Costeños and for whom a reward of 

up to $30 million pesos is being offered. .



"We have another driver of Collective Public Transport murdered by 

the criminal group Los Rastrojos Costeños. First-hand, we have offered a 

reward of up to $30 million, since we have some evidence to attribute 

this new act of blood to alias '21', member of the criminal gang," he said.

In addition, Hernández pointed out that "these criminals have been 

using this modality to frighten (the) transporters in Barranquilla and Soledad"



"For this reason, we have overturned 400 units of our Public Force for 

72 hours to provide greater support to drivers in the face of 

the fear they feel about going out to work," he added.



This murder is added to that of two other drivers in the metropolitan area, 

whose attacks were recorded in the last eight days against a 

driver from the Coolitoral company, and another from its affiliate Cootrab, 

under the same modus operandi.
