Incident happend at Mexico.

TECOH.- A tragic accident occurred shortly after 3 in the afternoon on the Tecoh-Tekit highway, 

where three people died and at least one more was injured.



Kilometer 37 of the federal highway that leads to the municipality of Peto was the scene 

of the spectacular mishap, approximately at the height of Telchaquillo.

According to witnesses, a double-trailer trailer that transported pig feed and a blue 

Caravan truck were traveling along the road towards the south of the state, 

until the heavy unit would have collided with the private unit.

According to witnesses, the truck, coming from Umán and bound for Teabo, "practically mounted" 

the family vehicle, so the truck driver lost control and the double trailer ended up 

overturned, blocking the road.



Due to the strong impact, the truck, with Yucatan license plates YXZ-053D, left the 

road and remained within the shoulder that divides the lanes of the road. 

Three people inside were killed and the driver was injured. 

The occupants of said unit would be natives of Cantamayec.



The driver of the trailer allegedly fled aboard another trailer that passed by the scene. 

However, he was later arrested.
