Three unidentified criminals killed TVR Manohar, a financier from Velankanni town in the Nagapattinam region
of Tamil Nadu, by hacking him to death. On August 17 around 9.30 p.m., he was assassinated inside his workplace.
The victim, Manohar, is seen counting money while seated on his office chair in the CCTV footage.
Unknown criminals suddenly storm into the office and attempt to hacked Manohar with machetes.
The three attackers eventually overwhelmed Manohar, who had been able to repel the attack at first,
and viciously hacked him to death inside his office.
Manohar was laying on the office floor when the three males arrived and began to
violently hack at him before fleeing the scene. The victim passed away instantly.
At the time of the incident, another person was also present in the office. When the man,
known only as Manivel, attempted to stop the attack on Manohar, the attackers beat him up as well.
Manivel, who suffered injuries as a result of the event, was checked into the Nagai Government
Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
To find the perpetrators responsible for the horrible murder of TVR Manohar, three distinct
teams have been established under the direction of the Nagapattinam District Superintendent of Police.
Authorities are still working to identify the criminals. They were all wearing masks over their faces.
To enhance their investigations, police are reviewing the CCTV footage from
Manohar’s office and other cameras close to the incident scene.
