The Ministry of Electricity announced, on Saturday, the formation of an investigative committee to uncover the circumstances of the death of an employee during maintenance work during the rains in Dhi Qar.

And the media of the Ministry of Electricity in Dhi Qar Governorate stated, in a statement received by Al-Rasheed, that “with great sadness and sorrow, the Ministry of Electricity mourns the death of the martyr of duty, the employee (Qasim Hassan Ajeel), affiliated with the maintenance of Al-Nasr Electricity in the North Nasiriyah Electricity Distribution Branch.”

And he added, "The associate was martyred while performing his duty to carry out maintenance work and serve the citizens during bad weather and rain in Dhi Qar, hoping that God will have mercy on him with the abundance of his mercy, and to inspire his family, relatives and loved ones patience and solace, and we belong to God and to Him we shall return."

And he indicated that “the minister directed the formation of an investigative committee to urgently reveal the cause and circumstances of the death accident, as well as take care of the duty of condolence, and preserve the rights of the deceased.”
