When in Russia, do as the Russians do . . .
It isn't so much as supporting Russia as understanding russia's POV. For starters, when the USSR collapsed, it was broken into former soviet districts, with no thought given to the underlying ethnicity of citizens or historical precedent. Second, the west promised not to expand NATO into former Soviet satellites and the west repeatedly broke that promise. Additionally, the west backed a coup in Ukraine that overthrew a pro-Russia president and installed a pro-west puppet. So yes, I can see Putin's POV.
Finally western powers and their controlled media are the biggest villains on the planet at this time. They laid waste to Iraq, Syria and Libya with close to zero good reason. They just paid their schills in the media to beat the war drums for them, and it worked. We know this, so why trust anything western powers and their puppet media says?
