Do either of you want to learn something?  A hand grenades intended method of causing death is blast waves.  Second is shrapnel but most deaths are from internal damage.  Most people who die from hand grenades take hours to die. They often don't even realize they're dying so they don't seek immediate medical intervention.  When they finally realize somethings fucked up inside them it's already too late.  Within a fifteen foot radius.  Death is almost a guaranteed outcome.  It ruptures organs and vessels from the quick expanding and rebound of tissue.  Especially around hollow spaces inside a body.  It does major internal damage that can't be seen.  If you immediately go to hospital and have extensive x-rays and ct-scans to determine the damage.  They can try to operate in an effort to save a life.  But there are no guarantees and a chance you still won't survive.  More people could survive if they act immediately to seek the correct type of medical help.  I didn't watch the video yet.  But if it's a legitimate hand grenade, he most likely died.  The vast majority of blast wave deaths occur in hospitals hours after the injury.

Oh yeah, also, if the grenade goes off in a confined space like a room.  The blast wave amplifies the energy significantly as it has more difficulty dissipating.
