Wow normally i have absolutely no problem with "racist" jokes. Im asian and i have probably made jokes about everything this douche does, but this asshole managed to actually make me feel offended for this first time in my life. And it had nothing to do with the actual content, like i said ive probably made worse and more offensive self depricating jokes. But what really got to me in this video was his absoulte relentlessness and the tone of malice. The amount of effort this guy was putting into being as ignorant and bigoted as he could imagine, trying to get a reaction out of that girl was so excessive it moved past anything that could be considered funny straight into the catagory of harassment and abuse.

I even despise political correctness because the oversensitivity of individuals has demonized any kind of rationalization that people use to judge or characterize others. Even though it was and is an obviously advantageous action that could argueably be an evolutionary trait that was hardwired into the human psyche long ago, people now refuse to accept this truth because they cant reconcile the fact that there can be individuals that dont conform to the norm. They are so uncomfortable with the concept of stereotypes that they label any of them as rascist. They think that it is unacceptable due to the relationship that stereotyping has with eugenics and attrocities like the holocaust and other genocides. They incorrectly think that people who stereotype others must also believe that they are superior. They have heard that stereotypes evolved into rascism which progressively grew more extreme which is how the Nazis formed, and they think that allowing any kind of generaliztion would eventually develop into something similar. But the way i see it is, everyone is human, every group and individual has both positive and negative attributes and the actual problem that should be ostracized is sentiment of superiority. Stereotypes exist for a reason, because they are statistically more likely to be true and even negative generalizations shouldn't be considered racist. For anything to be identified as racist it should have a quality of intolerance and/or the perception of making one group better than the other. It shouldnt be so villified to judge others based on their appearance, so long as people also are able to overlook their initial judgements when interactions and experiences dont agree.
