This Friday , June 16 , a mechanic was hit by a vehicle while helping the driver to get on the ramp to carry out the respective maintenance. The event would have occurred in Jipijapa , in the province of Manabí .

The images of the fatal accident were recorded on video thanks to one of the security cameras installed in the mechanical workshop. The video was published by the journalist Luis Antonio Ruiz on his Twitter account.

The tragedy was caught on video

According to the information from the security camera, it was 3 in the afternoon when the accident occurred. In the video it is observed how an old Ford 150 truck enters the workshop and, when the mechanic was in front of it, the driver did not stop the march and rammed him.

At the moment, the location of the driver and the vehicle involved in the accident are unknown . However, what could be confirmed was the unfortunate death of the mechanic after the accident .
