The Civil Police reported this Saturday that the cause of death of a couple found lifeless inside a car in Duque de Caxias, in Baixada Fluminense, was "gas inhalation". The case took place last Sunday (8) and is under the responsibility of the Baixada Fluminense Homicide Police Station (DHBF).

According to police, the forensic examination carried out on the bodies found no signs of violence. Family members have also been heard by the specialist.

The case was reported to the Military Police by residents of the Parque Laguna neighborhood. They found it strange that the vehicle had stopped and stayed in the same place for a long time. A resident, when approaching the vehicle, noticed that inside the car were a man and a woman, who appeared to be unconscious. Agents of the 15th BPM (Duque de Caxias) who were at the scene found that the couple was dead and referred the case to the DHFB.

What the Police said: "The Baixada Fluminense Homicide Police Station (DHBF) was called for this occurrence on May 8 of this year. Relatives of the victims were heard. The expertise was carried out and no signs of violence were found. The deaths were caused by inhalation of gases ."
