Unofficial sources at the hospital Universitario San José in Popayán confirmed the death of Deiby Fernando Vallejo Sánchez, who was the victim of a hitman attack in a cellular phone store in the historical center of the city.

According to preliminary information, although Vallejo Sánchez underwent surgery by the doctors of this health care center, he died due to the seriousness of his wounds.

The judicial authorities issued a statement, in which they point out that the person responsible for this homicide is a minor, who was taken to a health care center because he was beaten by the community that managed to capture him.

Preliminary information from the authorities, have managed to establish that the assassin is a native of the municipality of Palmira, Valle del Cauca, and that he had come to the city, only to commit the murder against Deiby Fernando.

Now, the authorities are trying to establish who is behind this homicide.

In addition, the person responsible in case of being prosecuted will not be able to be taken to a prison, due to the fact that he is a minor.
