Duo kills merchant inside store and films crime in Bahia

Security cameras recorded the action. Men appeared to wear police badges

A 48-year-old trader was shot dead this Tuesday morning (19), inside the wood crafts store he managed, in the city of Tucano , around 250 km from Salvador . The crime was filmed by security cameras.

Two men are suspected of committing the murder. The pair appeared to be wearing badges. One of them even filmed the victim's death with a cell phone. The crime happened around 8:30 am and there were at least two witnesses.

The victim was at the store's door, with a technician and another man, when the suspects arrived in a black car. In addition to the duo who shot, another person was driving the vehicle, but did not get out of it.

From the images of the crime, it is possible to see that the duo picked up the victim and took him inside the establishment, where the shots began. There were at least 9 shots. The merchant died at the scene of the attack. Watch below:

After the murder, one of the criminals even shot at the store's external cameras. However, only one of them was hit. The other one he couldn't get right. A third inmate was not seen by the pair, who fled in the car, with one of the witnesses' cell phones.

The victim was identified as Lourivan de Souza. There are still no details about the author and motivation of the crime. The Military Police (PM) arrived at the scene, following a complaint, but the men had already fled.

The case is under investigation by the Tucano Territorial Police Station. Police have not yet confirmed whether the suspects are police officers.
