A man is set on fire for shooting another man 

A young man accused of murder was lynched at a school in San Mateo Ixtatán, Huehuetenango, and children witnessed the moment. The violent episode was shared on social networks.

The lynching has shocked the community of San Mateo Ixtatán, Huehuetenango, where a young man between 18 and 25 years old was accused of killing another man from the same municipality.

The event took place this Friday, January 5 at around 11 am. Once detained, they took him to the community school and hung him by his feet, an act that was witnessed by children, who witnessed the violent episode.

The tragic incident lasted for approximately two and a half hours, during which a group of women attacked the alleged attacker with sticks and other blunt objects.

The children were still observing the scene, surrounding the individual who was hanging upside down from a beam outside one of the classrooms.
