A military police officer lost his life after being run over by a truck on BR-230, Km 17, in João Pessoa, at around 12:25 pm this Monday (15/1).
The stretch is between the viaducts of Avenida Epitácio Pessoa and Tambauzinho.
The accident involves a trailer and the motorcycle that was being driven by the Rotam PM corporal, who was on duty and died at the scene.
SAMU and police are in the area, towards João Pessoa-Cabedelo . The circumstances of the tragedy must be investigated. According to the Federal Highway Police (PRF-PB), an investigation is being carried out to identify the cause of the accident.
