At noon on February 8, Krong Buk district police (Dak Lak province) said that the unit had temporarily detained Bui Van Giau (34 years old, residing in Tay Son district, Binh Dinh province).

The police said that through security cameras, driver Giau drove a passenger car on the wrong side of the road, hitting a motorbike going in the opposite direction, causing a 3-year-old girl to die on the spot.

Immediately after the accident, driver Giau was tested for drugs and alcohol and the results were all negative.

Krong Buk District Police further informed that, in response to the tragic situation of the victim's family, the District Traffic Safety Committee supported 5 million VND. At the same time, the district police coordinated with a number of organizations to call for donations. contributed more than 40 million VND to the victim's family.

As reported, on the morning of February 7, Mr. N.T.N.'s family. (34 years old, residing in Gia Lai province) drove a motorbike to transport his wife and 3-year-old daughter from Binh Duong to Gia Lai to celebrate Tet.

However, when traveling to Chu Kpo commune (Krong Buk district), the motorbike driven by Mr. N. was suddenly hit by a passenger car with registration number: 60F-011.05 driven by driver Giau traveling in the opposite direction.

As a result, the accident caused Mr. N.'s 3-year-old daughter to die on the spot. His wife was unconscious and injured and was taken to the emergency room by people.

Currently, the police are continuing to investigate and clarify the accident.
