PM shoots unarmed man twice on the coast of SP; VIDEO
The case occurred in the Bitaru neighborhood, in São Vicente (SP). The man was rescued by Samu and taken to the hospital. Military Police reported that the incident was registered as an affront against the police team.
A military police officer shot the same unarmed man twice after a disturbance, this Friday (9), in Bitaru Park, in São Vicente , on the coast of São Paulo. Images obtained by g1 show a group of men involved in the argument and the security agent shooting the victim twice ( watch the video above ).

According to the Military Police, the case happened around 12:24 pm, on Rua Montese. The incident was registered as an affront against the police team.

In the images, it is possible to see the argument between the man and the military police officer. Suddenly, the agent shoots the man in the leg , who was wearing a white t-shirt and was limping after being shot. The argument continued and the same police officer even pushed an elderly man to the ground. He had a cane and got up soon after.

The same military police officer continued arguing with the man shot in the leg and with other people in the community. At a certain point, the injured person is pulled and is left without a shirt.

Then, the police officer holds the man by the arm, but he pushes the PM's hand away. The agent tries to punch the man and, shortly after, points the gun towards the resident's face. The man punches the PM, who retaliates and shoots a second time.

The man falls to the ground bloodied. The PM continues to point his gun at other residents, who protest after the situation. Still according to the images, it is possible to hear people screaming during the recording, asking to call rescue and crying.

According to the PM, the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was called to rescue the victim, who was taken to the emergency room and transferred to Hospital do Vicentino (HDV).

São Vicente City Hall reported, in a statement, that Samu health professionals found a male victim, with gunshot wounds to the thoracic region and left lower limb.

The victim was taken to Hospital do Vicentino (HDV), for medical evaluation, where he was admitted to the unit, stable and conscious. The man in question is a municipal employee. He holds a position as coordinator of São Vicente City Hall, in the Public Services Secretariat.

g1 contacted the Public Security Secretariat of the State of São Paulo (SSP-SP), but did not receive a response until the last update of this report .
