A 38-year-old man, identified as Antonio Armido da Silva, was stabbed to death this Thursday morning (28) during a fight on Avenida Getúlio Vargas, in the center of Manaus.

According to information from the Military Police, the man was drinking in a bar when he started a fight with a suspect, who has not yet been identified, over who would pay the bill.

Antonio allegedly took a crowbar to hit the suspect, but was stabbed in the back before he could hit the other man. After the victim fell to the ground, he continued stabbing him in the abdomen.

Despite the blows, the man still managed to get up and walk for a few meters, but soon fell dead. Those involved had a history of disagreements among themselves.

A video shared on social media shows the suspect leaving the body and changing his clothes. The Police confirmed that they already have the identity of the accused and that he was involved in another homicide.
