Security camera captures the moment in which a young man is shot in front of his wife and son inside a cafeteria. 

A 20-year-old young man was the target of an attempted murder on Monday night (22), while he was in a snack bar close to Policlínica Ana Adelaide, located on Rua Padre Chiquinho, in the Pedrinhas neighborhood, central region of Porto Velho.

A video recorded the moment the victim, accompanied by his wife and 2-year-old son, arrived at the cafeteria.

The trio had gone to the polyclinic in search of medical care for the child and chose to take a break for a snack. At that moment, two individuals on a red motorcycle with no license plate appeared.

The motorcycle passenger disembarked and shot the young man, who had no opportunity to defend himself. The impact knocked him down instantly, and the criminals fled immediately after the attack.

The victim was promptly taken to the Polyclinic, where he received first aid.

Due to the severity of his injuries, a team from Samu transferred him to the emergency room at Hospital João Paulo II.

His health condition was classified as very serious.

At the scene of the incident, forensic investigators collected 9mm caliber pistol shells.
