NEW INFORMATION: Woman is found dead with marks from stab wounds in Alagoinhas

The body of a woman, identified as Elizabeth Vanezza Alexandre de Carvalho, aged 35, was found with marks from stab wounds this Sunday (28), in the city of Alagoinhas.

Women's clothing, a blood-stained knife guard and an abandoned vehicle were found next to the body. The Civil Police say that there is already an indication of who was responsible for Elizabeth's death. The victim's relationship with the suspect, however, was not disclosed, as was the motivation for the crime.

The Hospital das Clínicas de Alagoinhas (HCA), where Elizabeth Vanezza worked, issued a note of condolence on social media. "We express our most sincere sympathies to Elizabeth's family and friends in this time of pain. May they find comfort in the good memories and love she shared with us and with everyone she had the privilege of meeting", says an excerpt from the statement.
