CIAMIS, KOMPAS.com- Tarsum, who killed his wife, Yanti, had offered residents to buy mutilated meat. The perpetrator carried the mutilated body parts in a basin.
"I was offered, 'buy Yanti meat, buy it'," said Yoyo Tarya, head of RT 08, Sindangjaya Village, when met at the scene of the incident, Friday (3/5/2024).
When he was offered pieces of the victim's body, Yoyo wanted to check the location because he had received reports from residents regarding the murder and mutilation. According to Yoyo, the body parts in the basin were cut. "The residents were clearly shocked, then reported it to the police," said Yoyo. Yoyo said that the perpetrator's daily life seemed ordinary. The perpetrator usually socializes with residents. "Reluctant to be temperamental. If there are family problems, I don't know," he said.
Previously, murder accompanied by mutilation occurred in Sindangjaya Hamlet, Cisontrol Village, Rancah District, Ciamis Regency, West Java, Friday. A husband, Tarsum (41), killed and then mutilated his wife, Yanti (40). The perpetrator is now being detained at the Ciamis Police. The victim's body will be autopsied at Ciamis Hospital.
