Gorontalo City Police Chief Commissioner Dr. Ade Permana, SIK, MH, through the criminal investigation unit, Police Commissioner Leonardo Widharta, SIK, explained that from the results of the crime scene investigation, it was identified that the victim was RPA (25), a resident of South Tomulobutao sub-district, Dungingi District, Gorontalo City.

Police Commissioner Leonardo said, based on witness testimony, that the discovery of the body was revealed when the witness was going fishing in the well of an empty house not far from the victim's house. to the victim's sister.

Police Commissioner Leonardo further said that RPA's younger brother told the witness to go back to the empty house, and at 16.30 the witness returned to the empty house and checked in the small hallway, then saw a skull hanging by a rope, then the witness noticed that the jacket he was wearing was The victim often wore a jacket, so the witness believed that the skull was the body of RPA.

"So when RPA was found, his neck was hanging tied to a rope and other body parts such as his legs were not intact and it was estimated that the victim had been dead for about a month," explained Police Commissioner Leonardo.

From the results of interrogations with the families of RPA victims, they said that RPA had left the house since April 2024.
