Two friends were surprised by shooters while drinking at a drinks distributor on Tuesday night (11), in the Parque da Fonte neighborhood, in São José dos Pinhais. The two boys were shot, one of whom died and the other was taken to the hospital in serious condition. The crime in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba was recorded by security camera images.

According to information provided by Lieutenant Bastos, from the Paraná Military Police (PMPR), the boys were sitting near a window of the establishment. Two individuals, on bicycles, approached and fired a sequence of shots.

“They arrived via the side road and as they approached the window, they shot the individuals with firearms. One died and the other was sent to Cajuru Hospital”, commented Bastos. 

One of the boys, aged 23, identified as Pedro Henrique, was shot and tried to escape along Rua Almirante Alexandrino, however, he fell on the road and could not resist. The friend was also shot, but was rescued alive and taken to the hospital.

“The motivation or authorship is still unknown. The victims would be residents of Parque da Fonte”, added the lieutenant.
