A woman, identified as Roberta Maria de Santana, aged 33, was stabbed to death in her own home, in the village of Fazenda Nova, in Parnarama-MA. The crime shocked the local community, mainly because it was committed in front of the victim's children.
The main suspect in the crime is Roberta’s husband, identified as “Tonhão”. After the attack , he fled the crime scene. Preliminary information indicates that Tonhão already has a criminal record for homicide, registered in the municipality of Colinas-MA.
Action by authorities
The Military Police are engaged in the search for the suspect, while the Parnarama Civil Police are conducting investigations. The death of Roberta Maria de Santana generated a wave of commotion in Fazenda Nova.
