A little girl was playing in her backyard when she was suddenly set upon by a kangaroo, with the shocking attack captured on CCTV.
The two-year-old had been just metres away from her parents on a rural property in New South Wales on Saturday when a kangaroo bounded up to her and kicked her backwards.
The kangaroo then jumped on the fallen child again and appeared to be ready to attack the toddler once more before her father ran over to her rescue and attempted to throw something at the animal.
