Violent dawn in Campo Mourão. A 23-year-old man, identified as Nathan Roberto Lourenço da Silva, was shot dead in a tobacco shop located on Guilherme de Paula Xavier Avenue and São Josafat Street. Two other young men who were at the scene, aged 21 and 25, were also injured. It was the 14th homicide of the year in the city.

The crime occurred at around 1:20 am this Sunday. According to witnesses, the shooter arrived wearing blue clothes, a black mask, and a cap. He went up to the boy and started shooting.

The shots ended up hitting two more people who were at the scene. One of them, with a wound to the face, was taken to the Emergency Room. The other, injured in the forearm, received treatment at the UPA.

After the crime, the shooter allegedly left on foot. The Military Police were called and when they arrived at the scene they found the victim already dead. The injured had been taken to the hospital by friends.

SAMU was called and confirmed the death. The Civil and Scientific Police carried out the forensic work to investigate and determine the perpetrator of the crime. The young man had no criminal record. The body was sent to the IML.
