A man with a hammer attacked an 18-year-old Novosibirsk resident who was defending his cashier girlfriend at a flower shop.

The man received 12 blows, but he was saved by his friend, who stood between him and the attacker. An employee of the pavilion took the hammer from the attacker, and he fled.
