I was just thinking about it the other day how something clicks in seemingly normal, well-rounded people and they commit atrocious acts, out of nowhere. Conspiracy theorists say it's the government or aliens but I think that some people are not accustomed to stress and, since we all have a 'suicidal gene' in all of us, maybe it's more pronounced in other people and forces them to play out this insane self-termination suddenly and violently, while the rest of us do it gradually, with drugs and alcohol.
