On June 17, a traffic accident occurred near the back door of Zijing Garden in Changping Town, Dongguan, Guangdong, where a vehicle collided with a pedestrian. After the incident, the Changping police quickly organized police forces to deal with it, and immediately coordinated with medical institutions to rescue the injured. According to investigations, at about 17:23 on the same day, the driver Ai (female) was driving a car with license plate number Guangdong S3Q8 through the above-mentioned road section. Due to improper operation, she collided with Chen (female), Zhou Hao (male), and Zhou (female) who were crossing the crosswalk, and then collided with two cars driving normally in the opposite lane. The accident caused Zhou to die after rescue efforts failed, Chen and Zhou Hao suffered minor injuries, and the three cars were damaged to varying degrees. After testing, Ai did not commit any illegal acts such as drunk driving and drug driving. At present, the driver Ai has been controlled by the police, and the accident is under further investigation.
