From the video circulating in the WhatsApp group , it is known that the incident took place at 7:32 WIB. The victim was seen riding a scooter with a friend, who was later found to be the victim's younger sibling.
Arriving at the scene, the victim's motorbike swerved to the right. It is suspected that the road was slippery due to stagnant water from the previous rain.
Then from the opposite direction, a box truck appeared. Because the distance was too close, an accident was unavoidable. The victim was immediately run over by the box truck and suffered severe head injuries. The victim died at the scene.
From the video, the victim appears not to move at all. Meanwhile, the victim's younger sibling immediately stood up and appeared to be shouting at the box truck which immediately fled. The victim was then evacuated by PMI Grobogan officers and taken to Purwodadi Regional Hospital.
Grobogan Village Head Gunarti confirmed that his resident was a victim who died in the accident. He said that at that time the victim and his younger sibling were going to work in Danyang, Purwodadi, Grobogan .
''The victim and his younger sibling were going to work in Purwodadi. They work as farmers and laborers,'' he said.

It is known that previously there was a fatal accident on Jalan Gajah Mada Purwodadi on Friday (20/9/2024). The victim was a 19-year-old man from Getasrejo Village, Grobogan District .
