On Sunday (10/27), a man wearing an electronic ankle bracelet was arrested for beating and stomping on the head of a 65-year-old man. The crime occurred at a beverage distributor on EQNM 36/3, in Taguatinga, in the early hours of Saturday (26).


According to the information, the man became angry because the victim had fallen next to another person who was drunk at the location and was known to the perpetrator. It was from this moment that he began the assault.


According to the investigation, the suspect arrived at the location where the man was already lying on the ground drunk. He then began to curse and beat the victim, who did not react.


The suspect was wearing an electronic ankle bracelet because he was serving a sentence for murder, which occurred in 2012. He was found sleeping at home, and the clothes he had used to commit the crime were there, including his blood-stained sneakers.


He was arrested for attempted murder. The victim was taken in serious condition to the Ceilândia Regional Hospital.
