The robber didn't just push him into the corner for no reason, the register was there. If this dude really cared about his life then unfortunately you're just going to have to give the robber what he wants, which was the money, and without complaints or struggle to avoid getting killed. He made the mistake of fighting back and especially without being armed with his own weapon. At least if he was armed, right when the robber would leave with the money, this man could've pulled out a gun and shot the robber in the back. If owning a firearm is out of the question for a civilian then sadly you're just going to have to submit to criminals who are armed. Or at least pick your battles wisely if you think you have a chance to win. This dude was fucking scared and not calm at all, he already fucked up. In these types of situations you have to be calm, smart, and observant if you want to survive. Unless the robber is a total dick and still killed you regardless of being compliant. But most times they don't kill you unless you give them a reason to.

Of course it's not an easy situation. But that's what I'm saying, he fucked up because he was quick to react without being calm and being compliant to the robber. I do understand that people react differently to life threatening situations like these, so I'm not talking shit or anything. But when you see videos just like these then we can still learn from their mistakes and God willing it never happens to us. If it does, then you know what to do and what not to do. Doesn't mean you'll always survive of course, just makes you more prepared than the average person.

to be honest, a lot of people here say they would have reacted because there are cases where the victim doesn't react, but still gets killed, and so... you really think you're doing the right thing but you never know what the right thing was but yes, I think he should have stayed calm, but it's not easy when you're afraid of never seeing your family again because you're afraid that the guy might kill you without resisting
