I have 37 military parachute jumps, and almost 100 civilian, solo pull chute jumps. You couldn't give me a glide chute. I did a small (20 cell, I believe) tourist glide chute, while stationed at Ft. Ord, CA. in 1988. It slammed me into the ocean so hard. I was in only about 10 feet of water, but I thought I was gonna never breathe again, my breath was knocked out so bad. I'd have been better off slammed into the beach sand, I think.
