It has to be said: Most people don't have what it takes to become bikers; they often have an extremely shitty sense of spatial awareness. They always die in the most preventable and easily avoidable ways. You need to have a map of the road inside your head with measurements, right/wrong decisions and all sorts of timings to handle yourself out there, and even then you'll gamble a lot.
With a car you can stick to plan A, and more often than not you'll be fine. Even if you fuck up bad, seat belts, airbags and whatnot will exchange your death for just a visit to the repair shop. With a bike you have to switch from plan A to B to C and be ready to get back on A again, all with 'blink of an eye' reactions, which if you don't have you are totally fucked, forever.
