Reports have indicated that the suspects stole the money from bets and prizes.
Special units of the National Police arrived at the scene to gather evidence and begin the investigation.
Manabí media reports that the attack was a dispute between the Los Lobos gang, originally from Quevedo (Los Ríos), and members of Los Choneros, who were at the cockpit.
The hypothesis is that it would affect factions of Los Choneros operating in eastern Manabí.
