A 34-year-old man suffered an electric shock on Tuesday morning (6), after climbing a pole in the São Sebastião neighborhood, in Hortolândia (SP). According to witnesses, the incident occurred around 6 am and, after the shock, the victim fell to the ground.
SAMU and Fire Department teams were called immediately and provided first aid at the scene. The man was taken in serious condition to Mário Covas Hospital, where he remains hospitalized.
The circumstances that led the man to climb the pole are still being investigated by the competent authorities.
