Downhill biker got wrecked at Mount Snowdon, Wales, UK.

A downhill racing cyclist has shared footage of the moment he suffered a horror crash in Snowdonia before an app helped rescuers reach him.

Gee Atherton, who specialises in downhill and four cross mountain bike racing, was filming for a new project near Dinas Mawddwy on June 18 when he suffered a terrible crash which sent him tumbling down the mountainside and left him severely concussed with multiple fractures.

@TheHound pure adrenaline I respect that mate, it's a kool sport, the proper bikes are pricey, the outfit, the gear and the bikes are kool. Actually I wear a mtb helmet to rollerblade, I've one from leatt the 2.0 and one from met the parachute model. Ja is true they show you the downhill video only.

I missed the part where they explain that is a bicycle route, that has zero to with riding a bike. My local MTB routes have strange parts as well, sometimes with barbed wire fences at neck height for hundreds of yards through the woods, some sections go through wild animal nature resorts with tonnes of horses and exotic cows etc sometimes no direction signs just guess I guess which way to go, who cares!
