Images from security cameras captured a serious accident that occurred last Wednesday (14), on Rua Manaus, located in Vila Quintino, in Mococa. The collision resulted in severe injuries for a 62-year-old cyclist, who is now fighting for his life in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

The video, which has been widely circulating on social media, shows the exact moment a motorcyclist crosses an intersection and, for reasons still under investigation, loses control of the vehicle. The driver falls and is dragged along the asphalt for several meters. During the fall, the motorcycle and the driver violently strike a cyclist who was riding normally on the road.

The victim was identified as Hamilton Vioto, affectionately known in the community as "Mirto". After the impact, he was rescued and rushed to the Emergency Care Unit (UPA).

Due to the severity of his injuries, Hamilton was transferred to the ICU, where he remains hospitalized in serious condition under constant monitoring by the medical team. As of the time of publication, there was no updated information on the motorcyclist's health status.
