In western Mexico, violence has once again left its mark.
A gunman from Grupo Delta—an armed cell linked to the New Generation Jalisco Cartel (CJNG)—recorded on video the aftermath of a clash with rivals in areas dominated by the war between criminal groups in the state of Michoacán.
The footage shows the bodies of members of a rival criminal group scattered across the scene after the clash. The gunman himself reportedly filmed the footage and later edited the material.
The images are circulating as yet another raw depiction of the bloody dispute between criminal organizations fighting for control of territory in the region.
