AMAZONAS – A man identified only as Pedro died with a stab wound to the neck after a fight around 3 am this Sunday, in the municipality of Borba (151 kilometers south of Manaus).

According to information, the military police received a complaint from the Vó Mundoca Hospital where three men were admitted to the hospital as victims of stab wounds. Pedro died in hospital with a puncture in his neck. It was not possible to contact the victim's family.

The second victim identified as Jeremias Jones de Oliveira Ferreira, 24, was hit in the right eye but was medicated. Ana Cristina Nascimento Sá, 18, the girlfriend of one of the victims, reported that the group was drinking at a gas station near the municipality's Integrated Police District, when Julio Cesar dos Santos, 20, arrived, created confusion and started a fight between they.

Julio Cesar delivered the blows to both victims and was also injured with a head injury, a puncture in the belly, a puncture in the left wrist and a puncture in the left knee. The police spoke with the accused who confessed to having injured the two victims with the knife as well as receiving blows.

The accused of murder and attempted murder was released by the hospital, after medical attention, and sent to the 74th DIP for appropriate measures.
