Our news system had access to the security cameras that recorded the murder of Henry Acero, a social leader of Ciudad Bolivar. These videos show how two assassins approached the victim and shot him several times.

According to the videos, the social leader was walking with his son in the Juan Bosco neighborhood of Ciudad Bolivar, when suddenly two men in hoods approached him and one of them took a gun out of his pants and shot him four times in the back.

The man was left lying on the ground; although his son immediately took him to a medical center, he did not survive due to the seriousness of his wounds. The community of Ciudad Bolivar remembers all the projects promoted by this social leader.

Indepaz rejected this murder and warned that the Ombudsman's Office had already issued an early warning about the risk faced by social leaders in Ciudad Bolivar.

For this reason, they call on the control authorities to protect the integrity of the other social leaders of the locality. Meanwhile, the police are investigating the causes of the incident.
