A woman died on the spot when a speeding tipper hit a two-wheeler in the Mirpet police station. According to Mirpet Inspector Kashi Viswanatham, Lakshmamma (52) of Madigatla village, Boothpur mandal, Mahabubnagar district, along with her son and daughter-in-law went towards the agriculture colony near Hastinapuram.
After taking money from acquaintances there, they left for Champapet. The son and daughter-in-law went in a different vehicle. Lakshmamma was going along with acquaintances in triple riding on another two-wheeler. At the same time, the tipper which rushed from behind hit the vehicle in which Lakshmamma was traveling. She was sitting behind and fell down. The tipper ran over her and she died. The other two sustained minor injuries.
