A motorcyclist lost his life after colliding with a pickup truck, the facts occurred on Mariano Otero Avenue at the intersection with Prolongación Guadalupe Avenue, in the Santa Ana Tepetitlán neighborhood in the municipality of Zapopan.

The first reports to the 911 numbers, indicated an unconscious man on part of the curb that is located in the aforementioned place, so the elements of the police station of the former Villa Maicera arrived at the point, requesting medical services, since the man was not moving.

The paramedics could do nothing for him, since the impact was so severe that it took his life instantly, and the area was secured while awaiting the arrival of the Highway Police.

Some witnesses mentioned that the truck did not respect the traffic light which caused the collision, even after the impact the motorcycle was dragged approximately 10 meters by a pipe that was circulating in the area.

The driver of the pickup truck belonging to a bouncy castle company was detained while the pertinent expert reports were made and the images from a C5 surveillance camera located at the intersection were reviewed in order to determine who was responsible.

The Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences was in charge of transferring the body to their facilities where they will begin the procedures to deliver the body to his relatives.
