Two young people, aged 18 and 19, were arrested and a teenager, aged 17, was arrested, suspected of killing a woman and setting her body on fire in Resende. The crime took place in the early hours of Wednesday (28) on Estrada da Limeira, in the Morada da Colina neighborhood.

In a statement to the Civil Police, one of the suspects said that the 32-year-old victim was passing information from his criminal faction to another organization. According to him, the woman had received a call and reported the location of him and a colleague to drug dealers from the rival faction.

Because of this, they would have decided to kill her. With the excuse of going to get drugs for the woman, they drove with the victim to a location. Then they hanged her with a rope. In order not to leave the body on the street, they decided to set it on fire.

According to the testimony, they bought gasoline at a gas station and called another accomplice. The three went to Estrada da Limeira, where they left the victim dead and set her body on fire.

Early in the morning, a man passing through the area called the Military Police and Firefighters. An investigation was carried out in the area. Security cameras also assisted in the Civil Police investigation, which identified the suspects and arrested them later in the afternoon.
