After the execution of the former director of the Cancún Cereso was announced, during the morning of today, Monday, April 29, a video was leaked of the precise moment in which the crime was perpetrated.

The clip shows that after a chance collision between a taxi driver and a motorcycle, a truck appears from the back which was apparently chasing the now deceased.

As the victim fell, hitmen took out their weapons and took advantage of his fall to the pavement, (Fermín Cortés), getting as close as they could to their 'target' to rid him with several shots.

It was exactly at minute 41:13 where it was observed that the murderers shot Fermín several times until he was lifeless on a busy avenue in broad daylight, in the capital of Quintana Roo.

Passersby who passed by the area continued on their way without even trying to get in, and even one or another burned a tire for suddenly accelerating their car.

It should be noted that until now, there is no information about the identity of the criminals.

QUINTANA ROO.- An armed attack in the vicinity of the Solidaridad neighborhood in the city of Chetumal, took the life of Fermín Cortés Burgos, commander in the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) of Quintana Roo and former director of the Cancún Prison.

The official lost his life on April 29, while riding on Vallehermoso and Petcacab streets, in Chetumal aboard a motorcycle. The people who were around the Solidaridad neighborhood indicated that Cortés Burgos was approached by a white car, which fired at least 20 shots, causing his instant death.
