As a result of the incident, the victim, who is also a 19-year-old youth, was seen to be thrown before being thrown onto the barricade on the side of the highway.

As a result, the victim was seriously injured and lost his left hand.

A viral recording also showed the condition of the victim sitting on the side of the road still alive.

However, the victim, known as Irfan Azim and from Kampung Surai Bakai, Kuala Ketil, Kedah, reportedly died while receiving treatment at Seberang Jaya Hospital.

According to preliminary information shared by the public, the motorcycle lane on the highway was closed at the time of the incident due to maintenance work.
