In İncirliova District of Aydın, Hakkı Eğe (51), who played drums at sahur and transported by horse carriage in the morning, died when a light commercial vehicle hit his horse carriage from behind. The moment of the accident was recorded by the security camera of a workplace.

The accident occurred around 07.30 am in Acarlar Neighborhood. Hakkı Eğe, who played the Ramadan drum at night at sahur, took his horse carriage after his work was over and was going to transport market vendors at Acarlar Fresh Vegetable and Fruit Market, when he was hit from behind by a light commercial vehicle with 09 UH 773 license plate driven by E.G. coming from behind. While the horse carriage became unusable due to the impact of the accident, Hakkı Eğe was seriously injured. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured Eğe was taken to Aydın Atatürk State Hospital by ambulance. He died despite all interventions at the hospital. Light commercial vehicle driver E.G. was detained. E.G. was arrested by the court after the police procedures. Hakkı Eğe's body was buried in the neighborhood cemetery after the funeral prayer at Acarlar Çarşı Mosque following the afternoon prayer.
